Rainbow Christian Alliance

Every second Sunday of the month, 6-8pm, the Rainbow Christian Alliance (RCA)  gathers in an accepting and affirming space for LGBTQIA+ Christians, and people exploring faith.

We aim to be a loving and welcoming place in Canberra where all gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, intersex, ace, queer, or questioning people and allies can meet, worship and enjoy fellowship together. All are welcome.

Our gatherings incorporate prayer, music and reflections on biblical texts and current topics. Discussion times enable sharing of our personal experiences, both of the church and our life experiences including our guest speakers.

Although many LGBTQIA+ people have had uncomfortable, and sometimes hostile, experiences with Christian churches. Tuggeranong Uniting Church is open and affirming of all who seek to explore faith and biblical story – and provide leadership – in a safe and supportive environment. 

The RCA also holds special services and events such as quiet days.
